The radiology department provides patients with the most important advances in state-of-the-art technology, which was one of the first Chinese centers that adopts angiocardiography.The use of technologies on thoracic diseases such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) benefits the patients while advancing the academic mission of education and research of the department, therefore lays the foundation for precision medicine. The department specializes in lung cancer CT screening, multimode imaging on mediastinal diseases and cardiovascular diseases, as well as interventional techniques such as CT-guided puncturing.
There are two 3.0T MRI scanners, one 1.5T MRI scanner, six MDCT scanners, two DR, four mobile DR, one multifunction digital gastroenterography machines and five DSA systems in the department.
There are 46 full-time enthusiastic faculty members, among them are three professors and five vice professors. Five of our working staff earns their doctorate degree on radiology and nine gets their master degree.
